Washington Dance Creative is a project based professional dance company focusing on photography, film, concert, and collaboration. Our mission is to bring to life the inclusion of art and promote the versatility of dance and how it connects to other mediums.
Our dancers have trained in multiple genres, styles, and other performing arts. From classical ballet to cutting edge movement we bring a fresh and nostalgic experience to SW Washington.
The mission of WDC is to integrate into the thriving arts scene and create a dance audience in the greater Vancouver area.
Angela studied musical theater at the University of Arizona and received her Bachelor's and Master's in Music Education from Portland State University. Musical credits include Chicago, 42nd Street, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She is currently in the band The Noted.
Cait trained at Oregon Ballet Theatre. She has danced with Oregon Ballet Theatre, Bouand Dance Company, and performed in several Broadway Rose musicals such as Nine and Chicago. Cait is currently the ballet mistress of Riverside Performing Arts and a certified Ellové instructor.
Amara trained at Columbia Dance as part of Regional Dance America and attend Northwest Dance Project's summer intensive. She has performed with Eowyn Emerald & Dancers, Shaun Keylock, and PDX Contemporary Ballet.
Autumn trained at Columbia Dance as a part of Regional Dance America and then went on to train at Ballet Austin. She has performed with Pure Dance Company, PiVot Dance Company, and Eowyn Emerald & Dancers.
Jacob trained at Inspire Dance Centre under the direction of Debbie Pierce. He has studied with artists such as Patrick Pulkrabeck, Casey Askew, Laruen Reins, and Adam Diloreto. He is excited to be in his first show with the company.
Josh Murry-Hawkins studied at Milwaukee Ballet and Joffrey Ballet on full scholarship and trained under Jan Dijkwel. He has danced and toured internationally with BodyVoyx and Eowyn Emerald & Dancers as a leading artist. Josh is currently the Dance Director of Riverside Performing Arts.
