Washington Dance Creative is a project based professional dance company focusing on photography, film, concert, and collaboration. Our mission is to bring to life the inclusion of art and promote the versatility of dance and how it connects to other mediums.
Our dancers have trained in multiple genres, styles, and other performing arts. From classical ballet to cutting edge movement we bring a fresh and nostalgic experience to SW Washington.
The mission of WDC is to integrate into the thriving arts scene and create a dance audience in the greater Vancouver area.
Emily attended summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre. She has been a featured dancer with Portland Festival Ballet performing leading roles in The Nutcracker, Le Corsaire, and Raymonda. She was a founding member of PDX Contemporary Ballet and danced with BodyVox. This is Emily's first show with the company.
Mari Kai Juras
Mari trained at Portland Youth Ballet, Ballet Austin, and Alonzo King Lines Ballet. She has danced with Skinner/Kirk Dance Ensemble, Eowyn Emerald & Dancers, and performed works by Lauren Edson, Uri Sands, Iratxe Ansa, Katie Faulkner, Gregory Dawson, and Yoshito Sakuraba. This is Mari's second show with the company.
Amara trained at Columbia Dance as part of Regional Dance America and attend Northwest Dance Project's summer intensive. She has performed with Eowyn Emerald & Dancers, Shaun Keylock, and PDX Contemporary Ballet. This is Amara's third show with the company.
Autumn trained at Columbia Dance as a part of Regional Dance America and then went on to train at Ballet Austin. She has performed with Pure Dance Company, PiVot Dance Company, and Eowyn Emerald & Dancers. This is Autumn's third show with the company.
Jacob trained at Inspire Dance Centre under the direction of Debbie Pierce. He has studied with artists such as Patrick Pulkrabeck, Casey Askew, Laruen Reins, and Adam Diloreto. This is Jacob's second show with the company.

Brent attended Vancouver School of Arts and Academics and trained at Columbia Dance. He has his BFA in Modern Dance from Point Park University and performed with The Pillow Project. He has danced with Eowyn Emerald & Dancers and currently dances with BodyVox as a leading artist and DarVejon Jones Dance Ensemble. This is Brent's second show with the company.
